No. We are currently developing some generic courses for the keywords library. These will not be directly for sale on the website but there will be plenty of scope for customising them according to specific needs or developing similar kinds of interactivity but with different content.
How will keywords be able to help organisations with interactive e-learning course development?
By helping with different aspects of e-learning such as needs analysis, adapting existing content, storyboarding, scripting, prototyping and editing for short online courses.
Will keywords be able to offer project management for e-learning course development?
Yes. The process of developing e-learning courses requires a range of expertise and skills to produce quality learning. This is best accomplished by combining different strengths into a small team, managed according to the needs of a particular project. Expertise includes a subject specialist, educator/trainer, editor and graphic designer, as well as a developer who is highly proficient in the use of a specific authoring tool for course delivery. We view instructional design as teamwork because the skills required to design, develop and deliver an online course are diverse and require different strengths.
Is keywords ltd a software developer?
No, we are not software developers but we maintain up-to-date practical information on relevant e-learning authoring tools on our Resources page. In the development process we prefer to partner with an instructional designer who has expertise in the use of a particular e-learning tool, as well as testing and delivery issues.
What software do you use for e-learning course development?
We are currently using Adobe Captivate to develop interactive e-learning courses.
What kind of publishing service will keywords provide?
E-courses need to be well written and clearly presented. They must be error-free, user-friendly and show consistency in style. These kind of publishing standards need to be reflected in e-learning courses if they are to look professional and facilitate learning. Copyright issues also need to be dealt with so it is therefore important for an editor with publishing experience to be involved in the process of developing an e-learning course.
Does keywords ltd publish or sell ebooks?
No, we do not publish or sell e-books.
Does keywords ltd publish hard copies of textbooks for educational, business or academic purposes?
No, we do not publish any textbooks.
